Villa la Angostura
Villa la Angostura
South of the Province of Neuquén a mountain town appears, located in the northwest edge of Nahuel Huapi Lake in the Patagonian mountain range. Three hills dominate the area: Bayo, 1782 metres high; Incayal, 1840 metres high and Belvedere, which is 1992 metres high. The peacefulness and beauty of this place is surrounded by those hills, and it is the gateway to the Arrayanes (Myrtles) National Park, unique in the world, which has a natural forest of this tree species. Forests, lakes and mountains are the hallmarks of Villa La Angostura environment. Being located between Bariloche in the south and San Martin de Los Andes in the north, both known worldwide for their ski resorts and natural beauty, turns Villa la Angostura into a must for tourists visiting the area. Its hotel infrastructure, its proximity to Bariloche airport and its charming inns located mostly along the lake make the town an ideal place for a real break.
