Balmaceda & Serrano Sailing Tour

Transfer to the Pier where we can get on the ship at about 8.00 am every day in summer season. After sailing for about 15 minutes we will arrive at Puerto Bories, an industrial complex. An hour later we will sail across Señoret Channel and Eberhard and Última Esperanza Fiords. After sailing for two hours by boat from Puerto Natales, under normal circumstances, we will arrive at the Cormorants Colony, with hundreds of these birds that are similar to penguins. As we move on across the fiord, the landscape becomes wilder and more attractive, due to its vigorous mountains. From the bow we will see the majestic Balmaceda Mountain and the homonymous glacier that comes away on the eastern side. This mountain is 2,035m high, and there are only a few people who have climbed up to its main summit. The above mentioned glacier is retreating, just like most glaciers in the world. After sailing for 4 hours, we will dock at the pier of Puerto Toro, and if we walk 1,000 metres, we can reach the foot of the glacier. Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers belong to Balmaceda Mountain National Park. You can see the mountains of Paine from the ship. Return to Puerto Natales and end of sailing tour. Transfer to the hotel.
