Iguazu Falls - Excursions

Excursion to the Falls on the Argentine Side

Breakfast and departure from the hotel (if you are staying at Foz do Iguazu, you will cross the border towards Argentina). We will go to Iguazú National Park and arrive at the Interpretation Centre, then we will travel by an ecologic train to the first station called Cataratas (Waterfalls), and take a hike from there along the lower catwalks (below the waterfalls) and the upper catwalks (above them). We will continue by train to the next station called Garganta (Throat), where we will get off the train and walk down a catwalk to the main balcony of Garganta del Diablo (the Devil’s Throat), the most important waterfall. Return to the interpretation centre and transfer to the hotel.

Excursion to the Falls on the Brazilian Side

Breakfast and departure from the hotel (if you are staying at Puerto Iguazú, you will cross the border towards Brazil). We will go to Foz do Iguazu National Park and arrive at the Interpretation Centre, then we will travel by a special park bus to the catwalks. In this case we will just have a panoramic view of the various waterfalls, as there are only a few waterfalls on the Brazilian side. Return to the interpretation centre and transfer to the hotel.

It lasts : half a day It is available : all year long

The Great Adventure Tour

This is an additional tour to the excursion to the waterfalls on the Argentine side. While we are on the lower catwalks, we will get on a semi-rigid boat that will bring us closer to Salto San Martín waterfall, and we will approach the fall to take pictures and then undergo a quick baptism: as we will go so near the waterfall, we will get wet with its water. Next, we will go along San Martín Island up to the Tres Mosqueteros (Three Musketeers) waterfall, where we will repeat what we did in the other waterfall. Then we will sail down the river about 4 km, disembark and get on a 4x4 vehicle to travel through the rainforest back to the waterfalls area.

It lasts : 1 hour It is available : all year long
